Do you have IBS, or know someone who does?

Update

The results are now in! Check the research priorities for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) in the UK and Republic of Ireland on Guts UK.

Have your say in what research in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) should focus on, and help begin a true and lasting change for people with IBS.

Guts UK, in partnership with James Lind Alliance (JLA), has set up a Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) to identify priorities for research in the diagnosis, treatment and care of people with IBS. This include the gathering of information via a survey open to the public.

Guts UK is one of the two charities I'm supporting this year. There are lots of charities in the UK who support people with certain digestive conditions, but none of them is committed to fighting all digestive diseases. These include indeed 34 conditions in total, and are a factor in 1 in 8 deaths in the UK.

By participating to the survey as a patient, carer, healthcare professional or family member / friend of someone with IBS, you can contribute to defining what research should focus on in the years to come, and make a difference to people with IBS in the UK.

The deadline to fill out the survey is 30th April 2022.

Thank you for taking the time to participate, and/or share it with people who may have an interest too.
