Hello,
I’m Laetitia, a French nutritional therapist and a private cook living in London.
As a nutritionist
As a nutritional therapist
I help people optimise their health and well-being with personalised nutrition, using a holistic, collaborative and evidence-based approach.
Improving my clients’ gut microbiome and digestion is at the core of my nutritional therapy. If our bodies don’t do a good job at processing our food, we’re not nourished properly, our hormones get out of balance, inflammation creeps in, and we start experiencing symptoms across our body systems. These can impact how we feel and limit our life choices.
So whether you come and see me for a consultation or a sugar detox, your personalised action plan will deliver what you realistically need to work towards your health goals, and your gut microbiome and digestion will be nurtured.
As a private cook / chef
I naturally use my knowledge about nutrition and gut health to suggest and prepare delicious and nourishing dishes that will delight you and your guests, while catering for any dietary preferences.
Why Gut&Glo?
In 2014, I worked in a marketing agency with clients in the pharmaceutical business. This is when I became more and more aware of the need to support patients beyond prescribing medicines, for instance by adjusting their lifestyle and nutrition. Researching the area I realised that some pathologies could be greatly improved, and for some reversed thanks to personalised nutrition.
Five years fast-forward and I completed a diploma in Nutritional Therapy at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in Richmond, where I graduated in 2019.
I witnessed how my first clients started to feel better after implementing nutrition and lifestyle changes we had agreed to. I had never sensed such an intense feeling of achievement and satisfaction in any of my previous roles; I was making a difference in someone's life!
And so was Gut&Glo born in 2021, with a view to take the noise out of nutrition for my clients, help them identify and implement the nutrition and lifestyle choices most helpful for them, so they feel better, and become happier.
In 2023 I decided to offer private cooking services, combining my knowledge of nutrition and gut health with my love of food and cooking. My cuisine is mostly vegetarian and Mediterranean and is strongly inspired by my French roots, travels to Southern Europe and my many cookbooks, especially from Yotam Ottolenghi. I’m currently completing a professional cooking course with the Leiths School of Food and Wine.
